Den of Thieves

There is a place where we all send our representatives, people who will speak for us, we entrust them with our resources, and we invest our hard-earned taxes in the resources we commit to them.

Whom we choose through a transparent process. While there, they are trusted with the responsibility to make laws and ensure our well-being and community development. We honor this place because we send noble people and their titles change to Honorable.

Alas, The place is no longer honorable because it is now filled with thieves. When we sent them, they were distinguished, humble, and respectful, and now that they have money, they have become disrespectful and full of pride. They have forgotten us. They have turned the once called the noble house of the honorable into a den of thieves.

They fight in public to make us hate, fight, and kill one another while they dine together in secrecy. With no direction, just going with the flow, where the wind blows everybody goes, have no shame, jumping from boat to boat, and never reach the destination. Depending on who is well known to the public, loyal, and can take insults, they do not care as long as they are paid.

They just don’t care about who is lacking, cares only for their own personal interests. They come in the day, dressed like noble people, with people between them and their dreams, manipulating the minds of the youth, robbing the youth of their future. Making empty promises, giving false hopes to women and children, able-bodied men reduced to beggars of things they can easily access without anyone aiding them.

They distribute money, clothes, bicycles, and anything that can buy them a vote, with no shame.
What about my people? Why are we so forgetful? These things happen every time, these criminals come when they need us once, only when they have run out of time, and we continue giving it to them. Why can’t we just stand our ground, use our past experience to make sound judgment, teach them how to work for what they steal.

Let us use our rights. The power in the ballot is priceless. It should never be traded for anything.

  1. It is with some reticence that I clicked the Like button on this blog. What you express is deplorable and not to be Liked. But what you say about it, standing your ground and making sound judgements and teaching, and the value of the ballot is marvelously presented. WE have the same problems here in the US, with pols who get too enamored by what THEY get once in office. I will pray for your country, and please pray for mine.

    1. Thank you for stopping by, I value your comment. You see, this political business is a problem everywhere, and what I do not like is the way politicians divide us while they dine together.
Thank you for your Prayers, I also pray for your country.
