God’s Promises for our hard times
“When you pass through the waters I will be with you, and the rivers will not cover you. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, and the flames will not scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2
Devotion
In difficult times, we feel alone and abandoned. You look for help, and no one comes to your aid. Family, friends, workmates, and even congregants neglect us. Many times we even think God has abandoned us and has focused on other people or better things. But keep holding on to Him and believe that He is right with us. What we need to do is focus on Him because he has already given us an assurance that He will never leave us.
Fear Not….
Fear not, for I am with you. I will lead your offspring from the East, and I will gather you from the West. I will say to the North, “Release him,” and the South, “Do not turn him away.” Bring my sons from far away and my daughters from the ends of the earth. Isaiah 43:5-6
To stay in the presence of God during Hard times, let us keep giving love and never expect anything in return because giving is loving, and God is Love.
