Education and Career Progress

I have encountered people who flaunt their academic qualifications, but is it necessary?

I appreciate the importance of academic qualifications in our career, and I also put into consideration performance. People converge more on their academic qualifications and neglect performance, hoping that academics will guarantee them career progress.

I feel that it is better to prioritize performance than your academics. That is if you are on your career path already. And if you have higher academic qualifications now, focus on performance, and everything else shall fall into place.

I have witnessed poor performers with rich academics. And I have also met brilliant performers who do not have any academics to their names.

This makes me agree with a statement that says “Education is not the name of any degree or certificate that can be shown to others as a proof… But… Education is the name of our attitude, actions, language, behaviour and personality with others in real life…!!

That is how I see it from my point of view, I don’t know about you…
